Nearly everybody in the western world either owns a man-made Xmas tree or ventures out to get a real fir tree each Yule period. Folks and youngsters alike all like to brighten the tree with ornaments. Originally the traditional Christmas tree ornaments consisted of dried cranberries, popcorn, lollies and candles but today the everyday Yuletide tree has rather developed and the ornaments that ornament our trees are rather different.
